My favourite tip to overcome procrastination
Today I have a recommendation to help you if – like many creatives – you feel that procrastination is one of your biggest creative challenges.
I used to really struggle with it. (See pin below.)
And it was so frustrating!
I had so many ideas, I knew what I wanted to do, I even knew how to do it.
And yet…
I wasn’t doing it.
Why is that?!
Well, I have a few theories that I’ll be sharing with you over the next few months.
But they say when the student is ready the teacher appears and it must have been time for me to ditch my procrastination habits.
Because I discovered a tool that worked like absolute magic.

Introducing… Theta Healing
The surprise remedy that painlessly, effortlessly and ‘miraculously’ cleared my procrastination is a new energy healing modality called Theta Healing.
And I found it by accident.
I hadn’t been exploring theta healing for a physical healing issue, or even for help with my creative life.
I was seeking help with a minor anxiety habit that has happily also been cleared. (Courtesy of my favourite Theta Healer, Polly Alexandre.)
But the most noticeable – and life-changing! – side-effect was the disappearance of my old procrastination habits.
They were just gone!
And now I can hardly remember what it was like to stall and dither and delay taking action on the projects that were important to me.

What is Theta Healing?
I’m still new to Theta Healing and still learning how it works exactly – it’s a rich and fascinating area.
I know that it addresses blocks in our energy system and our belief systems.
It works on the subconscious level – where resistance lives. (Perfect for creatives!!)
Obviously, this kind of deep work is not something to take lightly and so if you’d like details of the healers I have personally worked with and trust, let me know.
Or if you’re interested to know more about Theta Healing, this is a great place to start.
(BTW I have no affiliation with either of these resources – I just feel passionate about sharing great tools and businesses.)

Why am I sharing this with you?
In my work with creatives over the years, some patterns are extremely common.
Procrastination is one of the big issues that come up over and over again.
So, as soon as I noticed the disappearance of my old procrastination habits, I knew I had to share this with my lovely creatives.
Because if you’re prone to chronic procrastination – as I was – being free of it is such an exciting, liberating feeling.

You just do what you intend to do!
Without the doubt, drama or self-esteem-sapping feelings of guilt for not doing it.
For me, that was well worth the time, energy and expense of working with this fascinating healing method.
So I hope you’ll explore this if it calls to you, or you’re curious about learning more.
And I’d love to hear how it works for you!
