An End-of-year Review is a practice recommended by almost all of my mentors and can be a powerful way to set yourself up for success in the New Year.
The practice I’ve developed harnesses the magic of some of my favourite positive psychology and creativity coaching tools, that can really help you maximise all your wins – and challenges – over the year.
I’ve come to call this process of eking out the gems from any challenging times as Finding Diamonds in the Dustheap.
Some years have more dust than others!! But all have diamonds.
And the more you look for them, the more you see them all over the place, bringing some much-needed sparkle and joy to life.
The End-of-year & New Year period is the perfect time to assimilate this type of review and renew energy.

You have the option to pause the Review & Renew programme after the initial Review practices, to give you a little breathing space in the middle of the process.
Even a brief spell of intensive focus can create lots of shifts, and having some time to adapt to the changes and assess how to proceed can be a perfect interlude.
You can reiterate and recalibrate, before picking up with the Renew practices when you are ready to embrace the New Year energy.
